adequate stay with some drawbacks
difficulty locking overcrowded breakfast
the room i stayed in required the key to lock it. to get the key, i had to remove the card used to power the electricity, it was difficult to lock the door in the dark. the breakfast area was also quite overcrowded. (the coffee was decent, though.)

metro station breakfast options daily cleaning
The hotel's location was convenient. it was steps away from the metro station. Accessibility was a major plus. i also appreciated the breakfast. There were good options available each morning. the room was cleaned daily. I found it consistently fresh and orderly.
the street outside could get noisy at night. i sometimes heard sounds from outside even with the windows closed. this made sleeping a little difficult at times.

convenient location short walk good selection helpful staff
i found the location convenient, especially its proximity to la rambla. the drassanes metro station was also a short walk, made getting around easy. breakfast offered a good selection and the staff proved helpful.
The sound insulation between rooms was not great. I could hear noise from the hallway.

I stayed in a superior double or twin room balcony. the room had blackout curtains (this was great for sleeping in!). i appreciated the kitchenette. It meant i could make tea and coffee.
i thought the soundproofing between rooms was not great.
